An AI that has to make sense of everyday life

MyKin is an AI platform that acts as a personal assistant in both professional and personal contexts. The challenge was not to explain the technology in detail, but to show how KIN creates value in everyday life. The video was supposed to give the viewer an intuitive understanding of when and how the AI assistant can be used -- without getting technical or abstract.

Everyday scenarios rather than features

Instead of a classic product review, we opted for a scenario-based narrative in which the viewer follows the user through different situations over the course of an ordinary day. Each scenario illustrates a concrete application of KIN — from planning and overview to sparring and decision support. In this way, MyKin was presented as a natural and helpful tool that adapts to the needs of the user.

Storyboarding in close collaboration

We helped MyKin develop the storyboard and structure the narrative so that the messages were clear. The process took place in close dialogue with both MyKin and their strategic agencies to ensure that the video hit the right brand, audience and tone of voice. A thorough pre-production made it possible to keep production efficient and focused.

One-day production on location

Filming took place in one well-arranged production day on location. We worked with realistic environments and situations that support the narrative and make the scenarios easy to mirror. The tight planning ensured that all planned scenes were covered without compromising on quality.

Clear narrative — clear value

Subsequently, we were in charge of editing and final delivery. The result was a presentation video that communicates MyKIN's value clearly and visually, without over-explaining the technology. The video is now being used as a key tool to introduce MyKin and make their AI assistant relevant, understandable and easy to decide on.
